The Clinic was established in 1993. The founder and
the head of the Clinic is Mr.Aramazd Kankanyan,
Doctor of Medical Science, born in 1959 in Yerevan. Education and working activities 1976-1982- The Yerevan Medical Institute, Faculty of
Dentistry. 1984-1987- Chief doctor of the Stomatological
Polyclinic of Nairi District. 1987-1990- External post-graduate student of
"Central Scientific Research Institute of Dentistry"
in Moscow. In 1990 he defended the Ph.D. (candidate) thesis. 1990-1994- Assistant of the Preventive Dentistry
Department of the Yerevan State Medical University. 1994-1996- External post-graduate for doctor's
degree of "Central Scientific Research Institute of
Dentistry" in Moscow.
In
1996 he defended the doctoral thesis with "Doctor of
Medical Science" academic status conferment. In 1997 he was selected as a professor of the
Preventive Dentistry Department of the Yerevan State
Medical University. 1997-2001 - Dean of the Dentistry and Pharmaceutical
Faculty of the Yerevan State Medical University. In 1998 he was selected as a foreign member of
Russian Academy of Natural Science in Moscow. In 2004 he was the first to introduce the method of
laser therapy of teeth hard tissues and oral cavity
soft tissues diseases.
